Chrysosporum ovalisporum (Forti) E.Zapomelová, O.Skácelová, P.Pumann, R.Kopp & E.Janecek, nom. inval.; C. bergii was proposed as the Type species of the genus Chrysosporum by Zapomelová et al. 2012. However, strain 09-02 was not formally designated as the Type strain.
